INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOTE SUPPORT – WINDOWS (SEE BELOW FOR MAC OSX)
USING INTERNET EXPLORER OR MICROSOFT EDGE, Click HERE to download the program.
When prompted, click RUN (NOT Save.)
The program will download and install.
When prompted, provide the 9-digit code to the Support Representative.
Click the green ‘ACCEPT’ Button to begin the support session.
When the support session is finished, the support representative will close the session, and you may close the program. Once the program is closed, the support representative WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER.
MAC OSX REMOTE SUPPORT INSTRUCTIONS
BE SURE TO USE SAFARI. Click HERE to download the program.
The file will be saved to your Downloads folder. Click your Downloads folder, then click anydesk.dmg to open the disk image containing the program:
The DMG File opens up, and the application is displayed. Double-click the AnyDesk icon to open the program:
Mac OSX will ask you to confirm that you want to open the file. Click OPEN:
When the program opens, you will see a 9-digit number in the top left side of the screen. Provide this number to the technician:
Once the technician connects to your support session, you will be asked to grant permission. Please do so: (Leave all three check boxes checked.)
When the technician ends the support session, you may quit the AnyDesk program:
And finally, unmount the disk image. Locate the AnyDesk icon on the desktop of your Mac and right-click, choose “Eject AnyDesk”.
You may now locate the anydesk.dmg file in your Downloads folder and delete it if you wish. If you anticipate the need for support in the near future, we recommend you leave the program in your Downloads folder for easier access.
